Information Technology is very popular and successful at the Bankfield School.
We consider that Information Communication Technology is vital for learning now and in the future which is why it is a compulsory subject for all students at both key stages. We place a great emphasis on its importance both as a subject on its own right and as a tool to aid learning across the curriculum.
We are constantly adapting to new developments and initiatives. Therefore we have 8 fully equipped ICT rooms including a dedicated maths and science suites. All curriculum areas have interactive whiteboards and their own access to PCs and we are collectively developing a Virtual Learning Platform to enhance the students learning experience and create extended learning opportunities.
