On February 8th, twenty eight students from Years 7-10 departed for a week’s skiing holiday to Austria. After a long journey the students were still full of energy to hit the slopes of Wagrain. Staff who went on the trip included Mr Ross, Miss Holland, Miss Clancy, Mr Greathead and Mr C Wicker.

Students had four hours of ski tuition for six days. After several falls and some daring jumps, students were awarded with their certificates proving that all of them had made tremendous progress over the week.

Apres ski activities also provided amusement! These included sledging, swimming, a quiz night, a games night and a disco.

A ski trip has been planned for February 2009 to the resort of Folgaria in Italy. The total cost of the holiday will be £615.00 which includes all ski tuition (6x4hrs), transport, half board accommodation, après ski activities and insurance. Students can pay an additional £25 to go snowboarding

Both staff and students had a marvellous time.
