The Bankfield School celebrated its best ever GCSE results with 67% of students achieving 5 or more A*-C grades. Amongst the top achievers were Emma Morton who achieved 11 A* and A grades, Rebecca Yates (10 A grades) and Lara Garden (highest points score). Other high achievers were Joshua Amos-Roscoe, Michelle Buck and Stephanie Bancroft. Students and staff were delighted with the record results. Headteacher, Carole Owen, said “It is great to see the hard work of our students and staff rewarded with a great set of results. Congratulations to them all”

Key Stage 3 Results
The school’s KS3 results are the best ever with a significant increase in the number of students achieving Level, 5, 6, 7 & 8. The English results are the best in Halton at Level 6 and above. All Level 5 figures are broadly in line with the national averages. It is a fantastic achievement by the students and the staff. The same students have made a great start to Year 10 and we are looking forward to seeing them achieve as good a set of results at Key Stage 4.
